Farewell Brett Kern, we hardly knew thee.

It is a solemn day, Brett Kern has gone away.

Punters don't get much love, perhaps it's because often when they try to tackle somebody they look like a kitten trying to stop a Toyota Tacoma. However, I thought I'd take a moment to say fare thee well to Brett Kern. In the ruthless business that is professional football, he was cut today so the Broncos could bring in Mitch Berger.

Now, I like Mitch, as he is a University of Colorado guy, and plus have you ever met a guy named Mitch that you didn't like? Though, in an effort to not be completely heartless, I want to wish a fond farewell to Brett. Thanks for the memories, sir. Your season and a half of service will not be forgotten for at least ten minutes, now could you please get your car moving, you're double parked.

Thanks for not doing anything stupid in your time as a Bronco, all the best to you as you try to catch on with another team. My enduring memory of you will be that your retro helmet looked like a sideways dash. Bon Voyage. So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye!
